PLAY: Leandro Erlich's "Bâtiment"

I would love to be in Paris at anytime of the year, but especially from now until the end of March so I could go check out this installation at the art complex Le 104. Designed by Buenos Aires artist Leandro Erlich, the exhibit consists of a building facade laid flat on the floor, reflected by a giant angled mirror. Visitors are encouraged to play on the structure and experiment with different positions as they watch the mirror and pretend to defy gravity – hanging from a balcony, scaling a wall, jumping out of a window – it's all allowed. IMAGINE: To Teach a Child

Teaching a child a new skill must be one of the best experiences that an adult can have. That feeling of connection, and the swell of pride once they have mastered it themselves, is so rewarding and exciting. These photos taken in Indonesia sweetly capture some of those priceless teaching moments. I hope they inspire you to take some time this weekend to teach a child something new and wonderful. (p.s. ENJOY: Rugs from Fiona Curran

I'm a big fan of so many designs over at The Rug Company, but these two by Fiona Curran really had me wishing I had just one more kid's room in this tiny apartment to decorate. I'm such a sucker for geometric designs, and the colors are just perfect.
