SLEEP: Home Collection from Mini Rodini

It's here! The much-anticipated Mini Rodini Home Collection is now available online through their shop and a host of others. Made from organic and upcycled cotton fabrics, the collection consists of bedding sets for babies and kids, plus baby blankets featuring their trademark fun illustrations. I'm in love with the fish one!

SLEEP: Blankets from Yarning Made

Canadian knitter Sandra van Katwijk of Yarning Made has created some of the cutest knitted blankets for babies and I'm pretty sure I want every single one. I think the "Hi" blanket is my fave, but they are all so incredibly sweet! I love the subtle chunkiness of her yarn choice and the simple colors. Be sure to read her blog here.

SLEEP: Blankets from Juniper Wilde

It's a really strange feeling having to start thinking about baby gear after 4.5 years. Of course there are a million new products that have come out since then, which is fun but overwhelming. So many things I wish I would have had the first time around! Like these cute blankets, for instance. Even those nice thin swaddling blankets you see everywhere now. Woulda been nice. These ones from Etsy seller Juniper Wilde feature hand drawn illustrations printed on organic jersey knit fabric and would be great for either gender. Love the black and white!

SLEEP: Convertible Bassinet from Wollnitz

I'm a huge sucker for bassinets, although considering the short amount of time they actually get used before baby gets too big and has to be moved to a crib, it's hard to justify buying a super nice one. Until now. With a little ingenuity and some add-on parts, this wooden bassinet from German company Wollnitz has the capacity to be transformed from beautiful bassinet to a rocker for two to a sailboat! I think it's safe to say I'm a bit breathless about this one.

SLEEP: Fubu Beds

What a great day this is going to be! We are flying out to visit family in Utah and celebrate Easter with them. Even Scott gets to come on this trip, and I'm looking forward to not having to fly with London alone. Although a two hour flight should be a cinch! Loving this whole west coast thing. I came across this lovely bed and bassinet from German company Fubu - don't you love the grey wool felt? I think it's so classy and adds a warm textural quality to it. It's one of my new favorite crafting materials. It's the new paper! :)

SLEEP: Bedding from Oh My Kids

What a glorious weekend we had! Sunny, warm, t-shirt weather! Lots of gardening for us, but it didn't feel like a chore at all. It is so fun to see the garden waking up for spring and everything is on the brink of a color explosion. This bedding from Oh My Kids seems just right for spring - lots of white, small pops of color and it all feels so fresh. I am starting to think it was especially designed to be featured on this blog with our similar tastes in colors and shapes! Oh My Kids is a small children's label in Belgium designed by Leen Vanbroekhoven and everything is handmade and hand printed. In addition to her home collection, Leen also has some very cute clothing designs that are every bit as cute as the room decor.

SLEEP: Night Sky Bedding

I'm still not over the constellation trend...something about it just has me hooked. I was never much of a science lover, but learning about the universe always got my attention. A few months ago, we stood outside of our new home and marveled at how many stars we could see! Seeing a star in Manhattan was rare, and part of me was thrilled to discover them again. This night sky duvet cover from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child is just what any budding astronomer needs during dream time (plus it's on sale!)

SLEEP: Lull - The Living Lamp

Although this lamp is not in production (yet!) the concept is beautiful. It even won a Young Talent Award from the Norwegian Design Council, so you know it's good. Lull is patterned after a flower, opening during the day for bright light then closing at night, emitting a dim glow. I think it's the perfect signal for a child to know when to wind down and get ready for bed and when it's ok to go wake up mom and dad in the morning!

SLEEP + ORGANIZE: Beds and Dressers from xo-in my room

There's something about siblings working together creatively that just warms my heart...such as these three brothers (now grown, and with ten children between them!) from xo-in my room who have teamed up to create a fantastic line of children's furniture. Each one is made from reclaimed wood and the designs are so unique! I'd kill for one of those dressers...
